Singanna Palem
Singanna Palem is a village of India, located in the Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. The number of households in the village is nearly 1,000, with a total population of 1706.[1]
There are two temples, Durgamma and Srirama. The main crops are sugarcane, rice, and lentils (dhal). The fertile irrigated land and the sugarcane farming in area were the major sources of prosperity of the village. Some of the villagers had migrated to other States and even to foreign countries, mainly the United States.

The nearest bus station is located in Darsi.
There is regular bus service, run by both APSRTC (government) and private operators, from all major towns in Andhra Pradesh to Darsi. Singanna Palem can be reached from Darsi by catching an APSRTC bus from the Bus Depot (running every 30 minutes from Darsi buses available 5AM till 11PM), or by hiring an auto rickshaw or a taxi (available at all times of day).
