General Singha Bahadur Basnyat (Not to be confused with Ambassador to Great Britain Dr. Singha Bahadur Basnyat) was the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Nepalese Army from 10 May 1970 to 10 May 1975 A.D. He is of Khabatari/Khaptadi Basnyat clan.
