The Slovenian Women's League (Slovenian: Slovenska ženska nogometna liga, SŽNL, Slovenian women's football league) is the top level women's football league of Slovenia. It was founded in 1992 and currently features ten teams.
The champion of the league qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
Format
The teams play each other twice per season. Thus every team plays 14 matches. There is no relegation system in place. In 2010–11 a playoff system was adopted.
