Soegiono

Soegiono (Enhanced Indonesian Spelling System: Sugiono), was the 9th regent of Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia; who ruled from 1984 to 1988. Just like his predecessor, he also came from the military background.[1]

He is listed as a serious regent in his efforts to improve education in Poso. One of his great effort was established the University of Sintuwu Maroso as the first private university in Poso.[2]
