The South Africa cricket team is scheduled to tour England between May and August 2017 to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs), three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and four Test matches.[1][2] The ODI matches are in preparation for the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, scheduled to take place in England and Wales during June.[3]
Ahead of the ODI series, South Africa will play one-day warm-up matches against Northamptonshire and Sussex. If they do not get to the final of the Champions Trophy, South Africa will also play a T20 tour match against Leicestershire. Prior to the Test series, South Africa will play a three-day game against the England Lions at Worcester.[4]
