Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985
Spain was represented by Paloma San Basilio at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985, held in Gothenburg, Sweden. San Basilio was selected internally by Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest in Sweden with the song "La fiesta terminó".
At Eurovision
San Basilio performed 5th on the night of the contest, following Denmark and preceding France. At the close of the voting the song had received 36 points, placing 14th in a field of 19.
