Sri Sathya Sai International Centre for Sports is an indoor arena located in campus of Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The place is popularly known by the world at large as the birthplace of Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba.[1] The stadium was established in November 2006 and was inaugurated by then President of India Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam with capacity of 4,000. It is owned and managed by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.[2]
The stadium has facilities for games like basketball, volleyball, tennis, squash, table-tennis, badminton, and gymnastics. Spread around 4.8 of land, it is one of the largest open-frame space domes in India.[3][4]
