The kindergarten has grown to enrol 65, the primary and high schools 1,413, and the preuniversity college over 600 students.[2] The degree college on the grounds has an enrolment of over 300. Motto
The school's motto is "Service, the Light of Life." This is represented in its shield through IHS, the first three letters of "Jesus" in Greek and also symbolising faith, hope, and love; the rising sun, a symbol of vitality; the lotus, depicting wholeness; and open hands symbolising the gift we receive from God in our education. The school provides students with opportunities for service, in the interest of social concern and human development.[3][4]
Holy Cross Sisters
The Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, South Province Bangalore, since 1992 have assisted with teaching and helping with the boarding students. In 1996 the Sisters opened a boarding facility for indigent girls.[1]
