Stageco is an award winning[1] international staging, event and structures engineering company.
The company has nine offices situated across the globe where they design and custom build concert stages[2] and festival stages,[3] corporate and sporting structures[4] and temporary buildings[5] for every kind of event as well as supplying PA structures, sport and delay towers, event scaffolding, roof structures, hydraulic lifts and platforms and grandstand structures.[6] They have built stages for some of the top grossing tours.[7] 2011 marks the 25th anniversary of Stageco.
With headquarters in Belgium, Stageco also have offices in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, UK and USA. The Stageco Group comprises around 170 staff including in-house designers, engineers, project managers and onsite crew.
Company Profile
Stageco designs and builds custom-made as well as standardized concert stages and temporary structures for all kind of events. The latest examples of their work include touring stages for Coldplay, Muse and the U2 360 Tour.[8] In 2010 Stageco created the double configuration stage at Download for AC/DC and bespoke temporary event structure The Drum[9][10] for the Middle East Gas celebrations organised by WRG for the 77 Mta Task Force. The company also provide stages for a variety of festivals including 11 stages for Lowlands Festival[11] and a wide variety of high end fashion shows, including French designer Sonia Rykiel.[12]
Company history
Stageco was officially founded[13] by Hedwig De Meyer in Belgium in 1985 and is now one of the most prominent international staging companies in the world, winning Total Productions Best Staging Company[14] for five consecutive years. However the first Stageco stage was actually built for the renowned Rock Werchter Festival in 1977. By the mid eighties Stageco were touring with Genesis and Pink Floyd, whilst refining the tower systems and roofs. In 1992 for Genesis’ We Can’t Dance tour the staging company worked directly with an architect to create a custom built stage. 1992 was the same year that Stageco US was incorporated, after touring in the states with Guns N Roses and Metallica. Over the following years, new offices were opened in the Netherlands, Germany and France.

Stageco was among seven winners in the Plasa innovation award[15] for the companies new The Arena Lift[16] Stageco won Favourite Staging Company in the 2012 TPi Awards.
