Star Vault (2010-2016) is a Swedish games company founded by its CEO Henrik Nyström.
Star Vault is the creator of Mortal Online, a first-person fantasy MMORPG using Unreal Engine 3. Mortal Online launched June 9, 2010.[1]
History
- June 9, 2010: Star Vault officially releases Mortal Online for sale to the general public and begins charging monthly subscription fees.[2]
- January 29, 2010: Star Vault announces its Open Beta stage to start on February 1, 2010.
- December 11, 2008: Star Vault announces its Alpha stage was completed on December 1 and Beta Development will begin January 2009[4]
- October 31, 2008: Star Vault announces the Alpha-release of Mortal Online is set to take place November 28, 2008[5]
- October 23, 2008: Intel Software partner announcement[6]
- September 25, 2008: Mortal Online Store is launched[7]
- August 19–23, 2008: Star Vault attends 2008 Leipzig Games Convention[8]
- April 7, 2008: Star Vault announces Mortal Online, and launches both its website and the community forum
- March 26, 2008: Announced collaboration and licensing agreement with Quad Software and their product, the Grome modeler[9]
- July 3, 2007: Star Vault AB licenses Unreal Engine 3[10]
