States of South Holland

The meeting place of the States of South Holland in The Hague.

The States of South Holland (Dutch: Staten van Zuid-Holland, pronounced [ˈstaːtə(n) vɑn zœyt ˈɦɔlɑnt]) are the States-Provincial for the Dutch province of South Holland. It forms the legislative body of the province. Its 55 seats are distributed every four years in provincial elections. Since 2014, it is chaired by Jaap Smit (CDA).[1]
