Stephen Russell Jones (born 25 July 1957 in Eastbourne, Sussex) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League, as a right back. He was transferred from Queens Park Rangers F.C. to Walsall F.C. for £30,000 in January 1980 and was later sold to Wimbledon F.C. in June 1980. Whilst at Wimbledon he sustained a serious knee injury during a Football League Division Three match versus Plymouth Argyle F.C. in 1982 and was forced to retire prematurely from the game aged 26.
