Syed Emdad Ali (1880–1956), was a Bengali poet and writer. He was born in Munshiganj District, Bengal, now in Bangladesh.
Life
He worked for many departments. Was the chief editor of monthly‘Nabanur’(1903–06) with collaborations from M. Asad Ali,M.Hedayetullah and Qazi Imdadul Haq. His grand son Qazi Abdul Baqi was 2nd on the merit list of Science Department of East and West Pakistan Education Board in High School Graduation. He finished his PhD from Europe and became a professor in Rio de generio,Brazil of South America. Great grand daughter of Syed Emdad Ali, Tasnuva Sadia Linda achieved Government Education Scholarship from Japan and California of North America for university education after completing her High School graduation from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Works
His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary and higher secondary Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
