THANASI Foods is a small manufacturer and distributor of packaged snack foods. Products distributed by THANASI Foods are available in convenience stores, grocery stores, and drug stores in the United States and Canada.

History

THANASI Foods was founded in 2003 by Justin Havlick, who had the idea of combining established brand names to products in the snack food category. THANASI Foods has secured licenses from Jim Beam and Frank's RedHot to create snack foods using the licensed brands as the flavor component. THANASI Foods' first product created was Jim Beam Sunflower Seeds in 2004, followed quickly by Jim Beam beef jerky. In 2005, THANASI Foods won the CSP award for Retailer Choice Best New Product for its Jim Beam Beef Jerky product.[1] Frank's RedHot jerky was released in 2007.
