Tan Cressida is an American independent record label founded by rapper and producer Earl Sweatshirt in 2012.
History
Tan Cressida Records was founded by Earl Sweatshirt on May 2, 2012 as a means to release solo material.
On November 2, 2012, the lead single for Sweatshirt's debut studio album Doris, "Chum", was released through Tan Cressida digitally. On March 12, 2013, the second single for Doris, "Woah", was released through Tan Cressida digitally. It featured Tyler, The Creator. On July 16, 2013, the third and final single for Doris, "Hive", was released through Tan Cressida digitally. It featured Vince Staples and Casey Veggies. Finally, on August 20, 2013, Doris was released through Tan Cressida digitally and physically. The vinyl version of Doris was released on December 11, 2015 through Tan Cressida.
On March 17, 2015, the only single for Sweatshirt's second studio album I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside, "Grief", was released through Tan Cressida digitally. On March 23, 2015, I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside was released through Tan Cressida digitally, and later on April 14, 2015, physically. The vinyl version of I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside was released on December 11, 2015 through Tan Cressida.
