Tara Lynn (born July 26, 1982) is an American model[1] from Seattle, Washington. She is best known as a lingerie model for the plus-size clothing.[2] Tara has appeared on the cover of Elle Quebec. Lynn appeared in fashion magazine such as V Magazine and Glamour and H&M[3]

Tara Lynn was the covergirl for the February issue of French Elle, the picture is accompanied by the tagline 'The Body' implying that this is the shape women should aspire to - rather than a slim figure like Elle MacPherson's. Miss Lynn seems to have become the face of plus-size modelling since Crystal Renn shed her curves. She has also starred in V Magazine's 'Size Issue', has already appeared in the cover of Vogue Italia, and has starred in an H&M campaign. In an interview last year she admitted to being bullied at as a teenager. She said: 'I was a size 14/16 (UK size 18-20) in high school, and it wasn't the easiest thing. 'As a 16, I definitely felt like my weight was holding me back. I was supposed to have these bones protruding from my body and clearly that's not the case, and not the way my body's meant to be.'[4]

She was born in Tacoma, Washington on July 26, 1982 and grew up in Tacoma, Washington.[5]

Career

Before started modeling career she worked in a fast-food and in a grocery shop, as a farm worker and as a secretary. Tara Lynn's modeling career reflects upon her plus-size clothing. She got fame in the fashion world after being featured in V magazine and in the French Elle’s plus-size fashion shoot. Moreover, she has also appeared on the cover of the June, 2011 Vogue Italia, Spanish July 25, 2010 XL-Semanal, and in the U.S. May 8, 2010 Time magazine.[6] She has also been featured in V and Glamour magazines. She too appeared in Lucky Fall Jeans covers magazine.[7]

Personal life

Tara and her partner Aaron Bell are parents to a son, Finlay, born in 2015. Her parents are Marie and Allen Lynn of University Place, Washington.
