Tarago railway station is located on the Bombala line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the town of Tarago.

History

Tarago station opened on 3 January 1884 when the Bombala line was opened from Joppa Junction. It served as the terminus until the line was extended to Bungendore on 4 March 1885.[1][2][3] Opposite the platform lies a passing loop and a siding to the closed Woodlawn Mine.[4]

Services

Tarago is served by three daily NSW TrainLink Xplorer services in each direction operating between Sydney and Canberra.[5]
