Tarcoola railway station is located on the Trans-Australian Railway. It serves the town of Tarcoola.

History

In 1980, it became the junction station for the Central Australia Railway to Alice Springs.

The station has two triangles, one for turning locomotives, and a larger one that gives direct access from the Darwin line to the Trans-Australian Railway to Kalgoorlie.[1]

Tarcoola is served by Great Southern Rail's The Ghan and Indian Pacific services.[2][3]
