Tefen is an international management consulting firm with its world headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel.[1] Founded in 1982, Tefen focuses on strategic and operational CEO-agenda issues. Tefen is publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) under the symbol TEFN.[2]
History
- 1982 - Tefen was founded in Tel Aviv by Aaron Lichtenstein, Balfour Mor and Jacob Silbiger
- 1993 - Tefen USA was established
- 1994 - Tefen went public and is traded in the Israeli stock exchange market
- 1994 - Tefen UK was established
- 2005-2006 - Tefen began to grow rapidly both organically and through acquisitions[3] It established its German office and acquired several consulting firms, including:
- POC (Israel's first Strategy Consulting firm)
- Rasner (Supply Chain Management Consulting)
- Pilat Project Management Consulting
- 2008 - Tefen launches its business management journal - The Tefen Tribune[4]
- 2011 - Tefen expands its reach to Asia through a collaboration with a Chinese leading consulting firm Allpku[5]
- 2012 - Tefen signs a strategic cooperation agreement with FeedBackGround, a Spanish Management consulting based in Barcelona[6]
- 2012 - Tefen signs a strategic cooperation agreement with Nihilent headquartered in Pune, India[7]
