The Clipper

The Clipper was a newspaper published in Hobart, Tasmania from 1893 to 1909.[1] The title merged with the Daily Post in 1910.[2][3]
History
The Clipper was a weekly labor orientated publication, published from 8 April 1893 to 25 December 1909. The first editor was James Paton, a Christian Socialist. In 1903 Walter Alan Woods became editor and part owner until the newspaper merged with the Daily Post in 1910.[4][5][6]

The paper has been digitised as part of the Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program (ANDP) project of the National Library of Australia.
