The Craig Hundley Trio

The Craig Hundley Trio became a sensation in the 1960s, especially after an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The trio consisted of Craig Hundley on piano, Jay Jay Wiggins on bass, and Gary Chase on drums.

Their first (1968) album was titled Arrival of a Young Giant and was recorded when Craig Hundley was 14 years old. The second album was Craig Hundley Plays with the Big Boys and included an orchestra along with the trio. Both records were released by World Pacific Records.
