The Eternal Sapho (also known as A Modern Sapho and The Eternal Sappho)[1] is a 1916 American silent drama film directed by Bertram Bracken and starring Theda Bara. The film was based on the 1881 French novel Sapho, by Alphonse Daudet.[2] The Eternal Sapho was produced by Fox Film Corporation and shot at the Fox Studio in Fort Lee, New Jersey.[3] The film is now considered lost.[1]
