Plot synopsis
Lark was the codename of John. F. Kennedy, Jr.'s daughter. Dynamo was Amy Carter's. Chelsea Clinton was code-named Energy. And Nora Hartson is Shadow. Not long after meeting Shadow, a young White House attorney named Michael Garrick begins dating her, enraptured with her just like the rest of the world. Michael thinks he can handle the world where Norah's closest friends wear earpieces and carry guns, where his every move is watched, and in which his girlfriend's father is the most powerful man alive. Soon, though, Michael is accused of a murder he did not commit. In order to clear his name, he must unravel a secret that will shake the foundation of the Oval Office.
