The Forgiven
The Forgiven is a best-selling 2012 novel by Lawrence Osborne first published in the United States by Hogarth and in the United Kingdom by the same imprint the following year.
Based loosely on a true story set in the deserts of Morocco, it was received with wide acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. The Economist selected it as one of its Best Books of 2012 and The Sunday Times in London hailed its "brooding, compelling" quality.
The New York Post's Page Six column claimed in 2013 that a film version of the novel was being considered.[1][2][3]
