Plot

John Jones, a 26-year-old medical student and experienced caver, explores an un-mapped section of the famous Nutty Putty Cave on November 25, 2009. After John becomes stuck in a hole 18 inches wide and 150 feet under ground, rescue crews work frantically and heroically to free him. Throughout the ordeal, John relies on his love for his wife Emily and their infant daughter Lizzie to keep himself motivated, and develops a connection with a rescuer named Aaron who vows to free John from the cave. The story focus on themes of love, loss and faith.[3]
