The Lucky Country is the fifth EP by The Basics. It was officially released both digitally and on CD in stores on 7 November 2014.[1]
The EP was recorded at Abbey Road Studios from March 28, 2014 to April 2, 2014, at the same time as the follow up studio album, The Age Of Entitlement..
Two of the EP's tracks, Tunaomba Saidia and Good Times, Sunshine! both appeared on the band's 2015 studio album The Age Of Entitlement.
The film clip for the title track debuted via the Facebook page for non-profit organisation Get Up Australia.[2]
Following the release of the EP, the band embarked on a national tour of Australia where they performed at various cities across the country.[3]
