Thumper is a "rhythm violence" game by Drool. It is played by pressing buttons in sync with the beat, while a beetle speeds down a track through fantastic worlds.[1] The game was shown at the Experimental Game Workshop during the 2015 Game Developers Conference. You guide the beetle through levels consisting of spikes and walls by jumping, turning, and hitting the notes right. You also must battle against many bosses of the 9 worlds you traverse, some of which are giant, demonic heads.
