Tim Kempton Jr. is an American college basketball player, currently a senior at Lehigh University. At Lehigh, Kempton was the 2015 Patriot League Player of the Year.[1] Kempton repeated as Patriot League Player of the year in 2016.[2] He is the son of retired National Basketball Association (NBA) player Tim Kempton.[3]
A 6'10" center and power forward, Kempton played college basketball at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. For college, he chose Lehigh, where as a freshman in 2013–14 he averaged 13.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year.[4] In his sophomore season, Kempton raised his averages to 15.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game and was named first-team All-Patriot League, Patriot League Player of the Year and an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press.[5]
