Thomas Evans is an American journalist. He is a senior international producer for CNN and has reported on the Libyan Civil War, the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia, the Bahrain Uprising, Iraq War, the War in Afghanistan,[1] Hurricane Katrina, the Israel Hezbollah conflict[2] and 9/11 attacks.[3] He often produces for CNN's Anderson Cooper, Michael Ware and Nic Robertson, but has also been partnered with Ivan Watson, Ben Wedeman, Nick Paton Walsh and Christian Amanpour on occasion.

In April 2012 Tommy was appointed CNN International's Senior Director of Coverage for EMEA (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East).

Thomas Evans is also a still photographer, his images from the revolutions in Tunisa and Egypt, the Civil War in Libya, the War in Afghanistan and Pakistan, most notably from Abbottabad covering the death of Osama bin Laden often appearing on CNN.com [4]

Tommy Evans is a 1999 graduate of the University of Rochester. receiving a BA in Political Science as well as BA in Studio Arts. In 2000 earned a Masters in International Politics from SOAS.
