The Topeka Train Robbers are a professional baseball team based in Topeka, Kansas. The team is a member of the Pecos League, an independent baseball league which is not affiliated with Major or Minor League Baseball.
History
Established for the 2013 season, the team plays its home games at Lake Shawnee Sports Complex. The team previous called Las Vegas, New Mexico home for two seasons, then played the 2015 season as a travel team before subsequently moving to Topeka.[1]
The Train Robbers are Topeka's first professional franchise since the Class-C Topeka Reds played in the Illinois–Indiana–Iowa League. Both the team and the league folded following the 1961 season.
