Trostianets, Vinnytsia Oblast

Trostianets is an urban settlement (town) in Vinnytsia Oblast (province), located in the historic region of the Podilia. It is an administrative seat of Trostianets Raion. The town is located on the Trostianets River that is a tributary of the Southern Bug. Population: 7,818 (2015 est.)[1]
Trostianets is first mentioned in 1598. In the past it also was known as Adamhorod (Adamgrod).
