Tung Jeong (December 19, 1931 – May 4, 2015) was an international leader in the field of holography.[1] He worked with Hans Bjelkhagen on technology to make true-color holograms and assisted in the development of the three-dimensional moving holograms. His research led to simple and economical holograms.
Early life
Jeong emigrated from China to the US in 1948. He attended Amarillo High School, and received a BS from Yale University in 1957 and PhD from University of Minnesota in 1963.
