UAS International Trip Support (commonly referred to as UAS) is one of the privately held that provides services that belong to general aviation industry. UAS has continental headquarters in Houston, Johannesburg,[1] Hong Kong[2] and Dubai, as well as regional offices in China, India,[3] Nigeria, and Kenya.[4]
UAS is also running a scholarship program to fund aviation training in Africa,[5] raising earmarked travel funds for the nonprofit organization through its Make-A-Wish Initiative,[6] and providing free trip to the non-profit organization i.e. Orbis International,.[7] UAS has been contributing to the NBAA International Operators Conference (IOC) Scholarship on a yearly basis.[8][9]
Accomplishments
UAS has also been awarded as Aviation Business Magazine 2014 Ground Support Service Provider of the Year,[10] Aviation Business Magazine Corporate Social Responsibility.[10] UAS has also been the recipient of the industry award- Aviation Business Magazine 2015 Marketer of the Year from the American Marketing Association.[11]
UAS Functionalities
UAS business functions fall under three categories: Trip Support Services, Executive Travel Services and Air Charter Services.
UAS provides a broad complement of trip support solutions: flight planning and weather services; ground handling; short-notice overflight and landing permits; pre-arranged fuel, airport and ground assistance for crew and passengers; hotel accommodation; ground transportation; concierge services, and catering arrangements.[12] In 2015, UAS International Trip Support and EPIC Aviation announced the launch of their fuel program components, which provide substantial added value to customers in North America.[13]
