USS Indianapolis (LCS-17) will be a Freedom-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy.^[1] It will be the fourth ship in naval service named after Indianapolis, Indiana.^[5]

Marinette Marine is building the Indianapolis at its Marinette, Wisconsin shipyard.^[6][7]
