United People is a minor Irish political party formed in 2015.[1] It has no representation at local or national level. It was founded in 2015 by Jeffrey Rudd, who was previously a member of Direct Democracy Ireland.[1] Rudd was due to contest the Louth constituency for the party at the 2016 general election,[2] but withdrew "citing family and finance reasons".[3]
