The election to the United States House of Representatives in Florida for the 37th Congress was held October 1, 1860 at the same time as the election for Governor. The winner of this election did not serve, as Florida seceded before the start of the 37th Congress.

The incumbent George S. Hawkins (D), who had first been elected in 1856, did not run for re-election.

Post-election

The winner of this election did not serve due to Florida's secession. He subsequently won election to represent Florida's 2nd district in the Confederate Congress, serving in both the First and Second Confederate Congress. Florida's seat in the United States Congress was vacant from January 21, 1860 until July 1, 1868 when Florida was readmitted following Reconstruction.
