University of Utah Research Park
The University of Utah Research Park is located on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, United States.
History
In 1970, 320 acres (130 ha) of land was declared as surplus by Fort Douglas and was set aside for the creation of the research park.[1]
As of 2007 the park houses 42 companies, 69 academic departments and approximately 7,531 employees in 37 buildings.[2] The annual in-state productivity of park residents exceeds $550 million.[2]
