VIMIC is an American heavy metal band, consisting of Joey Jordison, Matt Tarach, Kyle Konkiel, Kalen Chase, and Jed Simon.
History
Following Joey Jordisons split with Slipknot, he reformed Scar the Martyr by replacing vocalist Henry Derek Bonner with Kalen Chase. According to Jordison, Vimic has 3 (soon 4) songs, Jordison announced the band in an interview with Jose Mangin on Sirius XM on May 5, 2016.[1] On May 16, they released a music video for another song, "She Sees Everything".[2] On June 3, they released a third song and music video, "My Fate".[3] Vimic will soon plan on an upcoming fourth song sometime between November 2016 and March 2017, It's called Open Your Omen (song), It's already been recorded in August 2016.
Their debut album, Open Your Omen, will be released in 2017.[4]
Shortly after releasing their debut song, former Scar the Martyr guitarist Kris Norris wrote on his Facebook page that he wrote "Simple Skeletons" and that he had also left the band after that single.[5]
