V V Lakshminarayana
V. V. Lakshminarayana was a former Joint Director for India's Central Bureau of Investigation. He is known for leading the investigations like OMC Scandal, Emaar Properties, 2G spectrum scam, Satyam Scandal, Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter, and Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy's Disproportionate Assets case.[1][2][3] V.V Lakshmi Narayana is currently posted as Additional Director General of Police in Maharashtra. He previously held the post of Joint Commissioner of Police of Thane, Maharashtra and before that as Inspector general of police Rank under Y-category security for dealing with high-profile corruption cases.[4][5]
Early life
Born on 3 April 1965 and brought up in Srisailam, Andhra pradesh Now in Telangana.[6] family, where his father was an Irrigation officer.He did his Bachelor of Engineering at the NIT Warangal. He did his MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He was an Inspector General, Maharashtra cadre from the 1990 batch of Indian Police Service .[7]
Career
He is known for his impact speeches. He worked as a Superintendent of police for Nanded and then for the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad. He was posted as Deputy inspector general of police (DIG) at Hyderabad on 12 June 2006, as he was keen to work for the CBI agency. According to media sources, he was initially posted as the CBI unit head for a period of five years and then given extension for two years on his promotion as the Joint Director. He also received the Indian police medal in 2006.[8] He successfully investigated the Satyam Scandal as a Deputy inspector general of police Rank.[9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16] He is a great motivational speaker and thinker giving inspiring speeches to the youth. He always thinks to transform our INDIA to a great nation among all other countries. He met more than 10 lakh youth and children as an active member of ' Lead India' an initiative started with the blessings of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam: Being a follower of Swami Vivekananda, he wishes to create a mass of Vivekanandas from his own school after his retirement. He is ahead in a line for giving help to the youth through his speech all over the Andhra Pradesh state. He adopted the village ' Chinnamandadi" in Mahbubnagar of Telangana State. He donated blood 54 times and received award from the Government of Maharashtra. He is conferred with the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award by the Maharashtra State Minority Commission for maintaining peace & harmony in places where he worked in Maharshra .
