Vakhtang Stepani Ananyan (Armenian: Վախթանգ Ստեփանի Անանյան; 26 July 1905 – 4 March 1980) was an Armenian writer. He was awarded by Armenian State Prize in 1970.
Ananyan was born in Poghoskilisa village, near Dilijan. He was a participant of World War II. His first work was published in Pioner journal, in 1927.
He died in 1980 in Yerevan. A school in Yerevan is named after him.
