Vanidah binti Amran (born February 8, 1979) in Pulau Pinang[1]), also known as Vanida Imran, is an actress and television host in Malaysia.[2] In 2007, she received the Best Female Actress award at 20th Malaysia Film Festival in Universiti Sains Malaysia. She is of Indian-Javanese descent.[3]
She is one of the main host in her country show called "Nona". The show is talking about women life, healty lifestyles and family. She eventually became the main host of the show since 2 January, 2011 took over Maya Karin place.
Early life
Born in Penang, Vanida grew up and raised in Kuala Lumpur and completed her secondary education at Convent Bukit Nanas.[4] Vanida was the 1st Runner-Up of Miss World Malaysia 1993 and she also won the subsidiary title Miss Photogenic.
Personal life
She married with actor Rashidi Ishak on October 1, 2000 and have two children together. She obtained her degree English Studies after four years of studies at Open University Malaysia.[5]
