Currently there is no public transportation available to this village, however there are plenty of auto rickshaws operated from Tanuku to this village. Car taxi service is also available from Tanuku.

There is a primary school located in the village which is accessible to everybody up to 5th class. The present strength of the school is around 150 students with 5 teachers. Students need to go to Tadiparru which is a neighbor village 1 km away. Students usually go there by cycles for studying 6th to 10th class. For college, students needs to go to Tanuku.

There is primary health care center is available in the village supported by the Byrraju Foundation. The health care center is open daily from morning to evening with health assistant. Physician visit the hospital daily in the afternoon.

Water

This village has good water resources and people directly drink from wells and hand pumps. Most of the people drink water directly from bore wells. Nowadays people started using purified water supplied by Byrraju Foundation which is very economical. There is a canal passing by village and the Godavari River is 3 km away.

Source of income

The village is dependent on agriculture. This village has good water resources and most of the agriculture is commercial farms growing Coconut, Banana, Sugarcane and other vegetables and small amount of paddy. Farmers have good amount of poultry farms here.

Other organizations

There are other social organizations actively helping the village people such as Sri Mudunuri Venkata Satya Narayana Raju Charitable Society which is founded by Dr. Satya Narayana Raju who was originally from this village but now settled in the United States. Recently The Spandana foundation started helping the poor and meritorious students from this village and neighboring village Tadiparru by providing Books and Uniforms.

People migration

People from this village have migrated to different parts of the world for both education and employment purposes. Nowadays people are getting awareness about the importance of education and every one is trying to make their children well educated. There are so many engineers emerged from this rural village and rendering their services in both public and private sectors i.e. departments like APEPDCL, visaka steel plant, medicals and as software engineers in India and abroad.

Economical

This village has many economically forward people when compared to other places. Though not all people are rich, you can find good amount of wealthy people here because of the fertile lands they have.
