Velom is a village in Kozhikode district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Velom had a population of 25122 with 12180 males and 12942 females.[1] the village is situated in the bank of Gulikappuzha (Kuttiady puzha)

The eastern Highway going through Kuttiady connects to Mananthavady, Mysore and Bangalore. The nearest airports are at Kannur and Kozhikode. The nearest railway station is at Vatakara.
