Victorino Noval Foundation
Victorino Noval Foundation is a suspended organization that was set up in December 2010 in honor of Spaniard Victorino Noval (September 4, 1931 Asturias, Spain, May 7, 2010 Los Angeles, California[1]) the father of Victor Jesus Noval, grandfather of Franco, Hunter and Jake Noval. The organization was never a non-profit organization per the IRS.[2] The corporation is suspended according to the California Secretary of State.[3]
Victor Jesus Noval who manages the foundation is a convicted felon who was sentenced to prison.[4][5][6][7][8]
Background
The foundation sponsored the "Spark of Love" 2010 toy drive in Beverly Hills. In partnership with the Children's Trust Fund, initiated the children's trust first annual flag football game with other sponsors including the Lakers, Clippers, ESPN, Kobe Bryant, and others.[9]
Philanthropy
The foundation sponsors the annual Thanksgiving Day celebration which highlights and honors the role of Native Americans along with guests speakers and a Q&A. Currently the foundation is moving into the sponsorship of emerging artists and will be displaying major works at The Vineyard Beverly Hills.[10]
Project Sponsorships
The Victorino Noval Foundation is sponsoring a project which will mentor young budding directors at Universities under the tutelage of Director Tony Kaye of American History X, along with a charity of James Franco, Elysium Bandini.
The Foundation is pleased to announce it also will be actively involved with Tony Kaye’s next film, as he is a director of conscience. Aside from the mentorship program, the Foundation will also be producing four films over the period of time from the end of 2016 through early 2017.
Paralympian Blake Leeper's personal management is currently under the supervision of businessman/philanthropist Robert Lorsch and Hanna Noval sponsored by the Victorino Noval Foundation and Nike.
The foundation hosted a dinner for Manny Pacquiao which his bloody shorts sold for 40k for charity.[11]
Victorino Noval Foundation collaborated with filmmaker and actor James Franco to produce two NYU student film projects.[12]Black Dog, Red Dog (2016) starring Franco, Olivia Wilde, Whoopi Goldberg and Chloe Sevigny follows the life of Stephen Dobyns as he deals with life, women, and his move from journalism to poetry[13] The Color of Time (2012) starring Franco, Mila Kunis, Jessica Chastain and Zach Braff illustrates a poetic road trip through Pulitzer prize-winning CK Williams' life.[14]
Victorino Noval Foundation works to promote young university students’ interest in film careers. The foundation has worked with ReelAid.org to produce a documentary narrated by Jeremy Irons, Sahaya Going Beyond, Redemption and The Hill That Chris Climbed with Peter Berg.
In 2015, Victorino Noval Foundation was a sponsor of the Emmy-winning series, The Bay starring Kristos Andrews and Kira Reed Lorsch.
