Vio marks Coca-Cola India’s entry into the value added dairy category.[1] It is the first ready-to-drink flavoured milk product
launched by the Coca-Cola Company in India. The new offering further expands Coca-Cola’s existing portfolio of beverages, providing consumers more choice.[2] There are two variants - VIO Almond Delight[3] and VIO Kesar Treat.[4] The milk is sourced from dairy farmers and blended with flavours.
VIO flavoured milk caters to the Indian palate. It contains toned milk, milk solids, sugar, blended with saffron, pistachio and almond flavours in the respective ‘Kesar Treat’ and ‘Almond Delight’ variants. Each pack contains 6.4 g of Protein.[5] It has no added preservatives. It is available in 200 ml Aseptic Tetra packaging.
The product lays the foundation for Coca-Cola’s new segment after Carbonated beverages, Water and Juices.[6] It is currently being manufactured by a co-packer, Schreiber Dynamix Dairies Pvt. Ltd.[7]
