Virgil Abloh
Virgil Abloh is an American creative designer and the founder of the Milan-based fashion label Off-White.
Early life
Abloh's parents are from Ghana. He was raised in Chicago.[1]
Career
Abloh was the art director for the 2012 Jay-Z / Kanye West album Watch the Throne,[2] for which he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package.[3]
Abloh founded the streetwear label Pyrex Vision in Chicago before shutting it down after just a year.[4] He then launched the Milan-based fashion label Off-White in 2014 offering high-end men's and women's collections.[5][6][7]
