Visual impairment intracranial pressure syndrome
Visual impairment intracranial pressure syndrome (VIIP) is a visual impairment that affects astronauts on long-duration missions in space.[1]
Signs and symptoms
Symptoms include worsening ability to see objects that are close.[2]
Causes
It is believed to be due to being in zero gravity for long periods of time.[3]
