WLEZ-LP (98.1 MHz FM, "EZ 98.1"), is a low-powered radio station serving the Jackson, Mississippi area with a community radio format. The station is currently owned by Voice of the Community Radio.
The station's music format includes a diverse mix of adult standards, local artists, jazz, beautiful music instrumentals, and easy listening during the day; overnight programming is oldies/classic hits created in-house by the staff. The station also produces and broadcasts live from its studios a vast array of diverse local programming with anything from talk shows during the week, to big band and swing during the week on "Swing and Sway" live Sunday nights from 6-8pm.
The station also carries high school football games of the Brandon High School "Bulldogs", live over the air and on its internet feed, beginning with the 2010 football season.
In 2009, WLEZ carried New York Giants football in a commercial-free agreement with the Giants' main network. WLEZ carried every pre-season and regular season Giants game, though only to terrestrial listeners.
WLEZ had operated on 103.7 FM until November 7, 2008. After that, it was at 100.1 FM and then WLEZ-LP moved to 98.1 FM in February 2013.
