The WTA Doubles Championships is a defunct WTA Tour affiliated tennis tournament played from 1975 to 1997. It was held in Tokyo in Japan from 1975 to 1977, from 1979 to 1981, from 1983 to 1985, and from 1987 to 1989, in Salt Lake City in the United States in 1978, in Fort Worth, Texas in the United States in 1982, in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States in 1986, in Orlando, Florida in the United States in 1990, in Tarpon Springs, Florida in the United States in 1991, in Wesley Chapel, Florida in the United States from 1992 to 1994, and in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom from 1995 to 1997. It was held on indoor carpet courts from 1975 to 1981 and from 1983 to 1990 and on outdoor clay courts in 1982 and from 1991 to 1997.
