960 is affiliated with Fox Sports Radio. WTGM is the Flagship Station for the Delmarva Shorebirds (Class 'A' minor league affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, since 2005).WTGM served as the flagship station for the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Men's and Women's Basketball teams from 2004 until the 2008-2009 season. Sports Talk 960 carried around 50 Orioles games a year. Sports Talk 960 aired local sporting events including High School Football, UMES Baseball, Salisbury University Baseball and the 2005 Division III National Lacrosse Championship in Philadelphia(Salisbury University defeated Middlebury 11-10).Local Shows: The Endzone with Ed, Frank and Jon (from 2004–2008), Bases Loaded (2006),and Center Court (2005–2006).
The "Sports Talk 960" logo and imaging were reflections of former sister station WTEM in Washington, DC.
On February 22, 2011 WTGM rebranded as "The Sports Animal".
On October 29, 2012 WTGM changed their format to comedy, branded as "Comedy 960".
On August 4, 2014, following the end of the 24/7 Comedy network, Fox Sports Radio moved back to WTGM, as "Fox Sports Radio 960".
